MEET HOPE

Hope Elizabeth Baskerville is a third-generation minister of the gospel, certified leadership and life coach, church strategist, and the visionary behind The Hope Project—a faith-based initiative committed to equipping people and churches to grow with grace, clarity, and purpose. Known for her discernment, strategic insight, and heart for holistic ministry, Hope is deeply committed to building systems that care for both the soul and the structure of church life.

She serves in full-time ministry at The Place of Change under the leadership of Dr. C.D. Rouson, where she helps translate vision into strategy, align leadership teams, and cultivate sustainable environments for volunteers and ministry teams to thrive.

A seasoned professional with over 12 years of experience in corporate marketing within the real estate and insurance industries, Hope brings a unique blend of marketplace excellence and ministry acumen. Her ability to lead with both professionalism and pastoral sensitivity makes her a trusted voice across both sacred and secular spaces.

Hope is currently pursuing her Master of Divinity at the historic Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, deepening her call to justice-centered theology, prophetic leadership, and community transformation.

As a daughter of the Black Pentecostal Holiness tradition, now serving in a non-denominational context, she is especially passionate about empowering women in ministry, reclaiming the role of the volunteer in church growth, and creating spaces where faith and function can coexist.

She is the author of A Dash of Hope: You’re Born for This, a book and 21-day devotional designed to stir faith and ignite movement in the lives of believers. She is also the curator of On The 1, Excel: Mega Ministry on Your Level, and the establishmentarian of The HeartBeat Network.

Hope is the proud wife of Mr. Darius A. Baskerville, a fellow minister and full-time corporate executive. Together, they model a life of purpose, partnership, and faithful service—both in the church and in the world.
